Wi-Fi router companies say they don't track the websites you visit, but all of them collect and share some user data.

Yet another reason to avoid the plague that is TikTok:

TikTok Parent ByteDance Planned To Use TikTok To Monitor The Physical Location Of Specific American Citizens

"The project, assigned to a Beijing-led team, would have involved accessing location data from some U.S. users’ devices without their knowledge or consent."

In at least 2 cases, the team planned to collect location data of a U.S. citizen who never had an employment relationship with TikTok

By design. :/

> Google’s “complex web” of settings obfuscated whether users were sharing their location at a given moment. "If we’re unhappy with one supermarket, we can just cross the street and go to another. It should be the same online. We work so that can not lock us inside their world, and we can keep our choices open."

"France has now made a historic decision to ban its ministries from using Microsoft 365. The reason is simple and it has to do with the possible sharing of your data with the US government."

Well this is truly frightening. This guy read through all 173 pages of the unreacted Google Anti-trust filing. A few highlights:

- "Jedi Blue" is a deal between Google and Facebook to cover for each if they got caught
- "Project NERA" would turn the web into a Walled Garden part of which was forced logins from Chrome
- Google insider-trades on their own ad exchanges to manipulate costs
- Ad exchanges are rigged so Google wins on bids where they arent the highest bidder
